The Order of Danylo Halytsky (Орден Данила Галицького) was instituted on February 20, 2003 to honor the military men of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was created by the Verkhovna Rada, the unicameral parliament of Ukraine.
Awards to serving members of the armed forces bear crossed swords.
